The Missouri State 3-Move & GAYP Open Checker Tournaments
will be held Saturday & Sunday, April
9th
& 10th 2016 at the East Hills
Shopping Center / "Food Court," 3702
Frederick Avenue, St. Joseph,
Missouri 64506 (map) (816-279-5667).
George Stallsworth decided again to combine both
tournaments this year as: 3-Move, Saturday and GAYP, Sunday. Registration
will begin at 8:30 a.m. and play starts at 9:00 a.m. on both days. Taco Johns, The Kabob, Chinex, and Lino's
Pizza are all located in the food court. 
There
are nice comfortable chairs in the area with a TV and Wi-Fi. The Texas Road
House and Five Guys are also located in the parking area. Golden Corral is
nearby. We will need to enter the mall on the West Side between J.C. Penney and
Off Broadway Shoes. Entry fee is $10.00 for each tournament.
George and
Darlene submitted several mall pictures to supplement this announcement and help orientate you to the mall food court.
To help us promote checkers in Missouri, Joe McDaniel contributed $1,000.00 to
our 3-Move & GAYP tournament, which will be divided equally between the two.
